Tour Description

DAY 1 SAN JOSE
Arrival at the Juan Santamaría International Airport.  A Swiss Travel representative will meet and greet you upon your arrival and will provide you with all the necessary documentation you will need during your vacation. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in San Jose. Overnight at Presidente Inn hotel (or similar).
DAY 2 SAN JOSE – TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Early transfer looking for the Northern Caribbean’s lowlands. In the first part of the trip you will admire beautiful mountains and landscapes of the Braulio Carrillo National Park.
Once in the Caribbean side you will continue to the Caño Blanco Dock, where boats are waiting to transfer you to the Tortuguero National Park. A two and half hour boat ride. Upon
arrival there will be a short briefing of the hotel and the area followed by lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the village of Tortuguero. Overnight at Pachira Lodge (or similar).
DAY 3 TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Tortuguero is a great place for ecotourism lovers. During the day you can enjoy a guided hike through the jungle. Overnight at Pachira Lodge (or similar).
DAY 4 TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK – ARENAL VOLCANO – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Today a domestic flight from Tortuguero to San José or Arenal (Depending on the season). During the afternoon, you will visit the Arenal 1968 lookout point.
At the end of the day, you will visit the world famous Tabacón Hot Springs.  Tabacón is a unique location full of natural jewels that definitely you cannot miss staying in Arenal area.
After dinner, transfer to Lomas del Volcán Hotel (or similar) in Arenal Volcano , where you will stay the next two nights.
DAY 5 ARENAL VOLCANO – Breakfast
During the morning you will visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges. Afternoon is at your leisure to explore the area.
DAY 6 ARENAL VOLCANO – SAN JOSE – Breakfast
Morning will be at leisure. In the afternoon, transfer back to San Jose. Check-in and overnight at Overnight at Presidente Inn hotel (or similar).
DAY 7 SAN JOSE – INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – Breakfast
According to your flight itinerary, the transfer is scheduled from your selected hotel in San Jose to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), to board your flight back home.

Two (2) night accommodations at Overnight at Presidente Inn hotel (or similar), San José.  (One night at the beginning and one night at the end of the itinerary)
Two (2) nights / 3 days regular package at Pachira Lodge (or similar), Tortuguero.   (Includes: Ground and boat transportation, lodging, daily meals, tour to the secondary Tortuguero canals and visit to the Tortuguero Village.)
Regular Domestic Flight Tortuguero – San Jose or Fortuna.  (Maximum luggage weight allowance of 40 lbs (18 kgs) per person.)
Regular transfer from SJO Int’l Airport or Arenal local airstrip to Arenal area selected hotel.
