Tour Description

Program summary:  
DAY 1 // JUAN SANTAMARIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT- SAN JOSE  
Arrival at the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO).    
A Swiss Travel representative will meet and greet you upon your arrival and will provide you with all the necessary documentation you   
will need during your vacation, such as vouchers, itinerary and the main contacts information and phone numbers. Then, you will be   
transferred to your hotel in San Jose which is approximately 30 minutes driving distance.  Check and stay 2 nights at the selected hotel.  
DAY 2 // IRAZU VOLCANO & SARAPIQUI RIVER   Breakfast & Lunch  
In the morning, you will depart from San Jose to the Sarapiqui Rainforest area.  
Travel to the Irazú Volcano, Costa Rica’s highest volcano.  
The tour will also take you to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, where you will board a boat to discover the natural wealth of the country. You will arrive at a private farm to enjoy lunch, hiking and butterfly garden, Serpentarium, frog sanctuary and botanical garden. After, you will be transfer  back to San Jose
DAY 3 // SAN JOSE – ARENAL VOLCANO Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner  
During the morning, transfer to Arenal Volcano. Visit the town of Sarchí.  
Arrive to La Fortuna village, see the Arenal Volcano and enjoy lunch.  
In the afternoon, Tabacón Hot Springs.  
At the end of the tour you will have dinner at the resort and then transferred to your selected hotel in Arenal Volcano where you will stay two nights.  
DAY 4 // ARENAL VOLCANO  Breakfast  
Day at your leisure to explore the area.   At extra cost activities you can do canopy, hanging bridges, horseback riding, culture tour, rafting, river floating and much more
DAY 5 // ARENAL VOLCANO – SELECTED BEACH, GUANACASTE  Breakfast  
Breakfast at the hotel and during the morning a regular transfer will take you from Arenal to your selected beach hotel in the Guanacaste area.  
Overnight stay in Guanacaste according to the selected hotel.  
DAY 6 & 7 // ARENAL VOLCANO – SELECTED BEACH, GUANACASTE   Breakfast    
Days at leisure for you to enjoy the hotel grounds, the beach and even consider on taking an optional (extra cost) day tours in the area.   
DAY 8 // SELECTED BEACH, GUANACASTE – LIBERIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT  Breakfast   
According to your flight itinerary, it is scheduled the transfer from your Guanacaste selected hotel to Liberia International Airport (LIR), to board your flight.
