DAY 1-LIBERIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT–CELESTE RIVER;Dinner
Arrival to the Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR). A Swiss representative will meet you upon arrival and provide you with all the needed documentation, vouchers, itinerary, main contacts information and phone numbers. A representative from the car rental company will deliver you a 4WD car (Bego Terios or similar) so you can continue the rest of the trip by driving on your own. The first drive will take you approximately 2hrs to the Celeste River. Overnight at Celeste Mountain Lodge (or similar). Make sure to book a flight arriving to Costa Rica at mid-day.DAY 2-CELESTE RIVER–ARENAL VOLCANO;Breakfast & Lunch
Morning at leisure. Highly recommend the hike to Celeste River (Entrance fee not included) or visit Bijagua VillageDuring the afternoon, drive to the Northern area of Costa Rica. Driving time from Celeste River to Arenal Volcano area will be approximately 1 1/2hrs. 2 nights stay at Casa Luna
hotel (or similar) in the Arenal volcano area.
DAY 3-ARENAL VOLCANO;Breakfast
Day at leisure to visit any of the different optional attractions offered (Extra cost),including Arenal Volcano National
Park, La Fortuna Waterfall, Canopy, Hanging bridges or just relax & enjoy nature from your hotel facilities.
DAY 4-ARENAL VOLCANO–MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST;Breakfast
Early morning, we recommend you to drive to the Monteverde Cloud Forest area. After check in at
Monteverde Cloud Forest Lodge (or Similar) in Monteverde. Optional attractions that are available (extra cost).
DAY 5-MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST;Breakfast
Today leisure for optional activities (Extra Cost). You can visit two private reserves:
Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve & Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Other attractions are Hummingbird Gallery, Butterfly Farm, Serpentarium, Trapiche Sugar Cane Mill & the Sky Trek.DAY 6-MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST–TAMARINDO BEACH;Breakfast Today, continue discovering Costa Rica. Descent from the highlands of Monteverde to lowlands of the North Pacific Coast. You notice the change of the rainforest to the tropical dry forest. Overnight stay at Wyndham Tamarindo (or similar to 12/10/19) Tamarindo Diria ( or similar travel starting 12/11/19)DAY 7-TAMARINDO BEACH;BreakfastDays at leisure. Consider on taking an optional (extra cost) day tour. There are several reserves, natural attractions and many activities.
